Travel agency licensed by Tourism of Portugal, specialized in organizing trips, tours, accommodation and related services.
2. SCOPE OF APPLICATION
These terms apply to all services provided by Star Go Travel, including:
- Flight bookings
- Accommodation reservations
- Tours and activities
- Travel packages
- Consulting services
3. BOOKING PROCESS
3.1 Quotes:
- Quotes are valid for 7 days unless otherwise indicated
- Prices subject to availability at booking date
- Price changes may occur due to external factors
3.2 Confirmation:
- Bookings confirmed upon payment and availability
- Confirmation sent by email
- Changes after confirmation subject to supplier policies
3.3 Documentation:
- Client responsible for valid documentation (passport, visas)
- Star Go Travel may provide information but is not responsible for inadequate documentation
4. PRICES AND PAYMENTS
4.1 Prices:
- Include taxes mentioned in the proposal
- Do not include local taxes, visas or unspecified extras
- Subject to changes due to factors such as fuel, taxes, exchange rates
4.2 Payment:
- 30% deposit upon confirmation
- Full payment up to 30 days before travel
- Methods: bank transfer, credit card, MB Way
4.3 Invoices:
- Issued after payment
- Sent by email
- Copies available upon request
5. CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES
5.1 Cancellations by client:
- More than 60 days: 90% refund of amount paid
- 30-60 days: 75% refund of amount paid
- 15-30 days: 50% refund of amount paid
- Less than 15 days: no refund
5.2 Changes by client:
- Subject to availability and supplier policies
- Additional costs at client’s expense
- Minimum 15 days notice before travel
5.3 Cancellations by Star Go Travel:
- Full refund in case of cancellation on our initiative
- Force majeure causes may result in different conditions
6. INSURANCE
6.1 Civil liability:
- Star Go Travel has RC insurance no. 207295687 (Allianz Portugal)
- Covers liability for organized services
6.2 Travel insurance:
- Recommended for all clients
- Not included unless expressly indicated
- Client responsible for verifying adequate coverage
7. RESPONSIBILITIES
7.1 Star Go Travel’s:
- Provision of services as contracted
- Assistance during travel
- Compliance with legal obligations
7.2 Limitations:
- Not responsible for acts of third parties (hotels, airlines, etc.)
- Not responsible for client’s inadequate documentation
- Not responsible for force majeure causes
7.3 Client’s:
- Provide correct and complete information
- Valid and adequate documentation
- Compliance with local norms and regulations
- Payments within established deadlines
8. COMPLAINTS
8.1 Process:
- Complaints in writing to info@stargotravel.pt
- 30-day deadline after trip completion
- Response within 30 business days
8.2 Mediation:
- Conflicts may be submitted to the Consumer Conflict Arbitration Center
- Alternative resolution through competent entities
9. DATA PROTECTION
Personal data is processed according to our Privacy Policy, in compliance with GDPR.
10. FORCE MAJEURE
We are not responsible for non-compliance due to:
- Extreme weather conditions
- Strikes or disturbances
- Terrorist acts or war
- Pandemics or health emergencies
- Natural disasters
- Governmental or legal changes
11. APPLICABLE LAW
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Conflicts will be submitted to competent Portuguese courts.
12. AMENDMENTS
These terms may be amended upon notification on the website. Changes apply to new bookings after the effective date.
